As Milestone continues its efforts to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus and COVID-19, we’re making a few updates to our donation policy. Effective March 23, 2020, Milestone will no longer accept item donations, including clothing and household items, at either the Portland or Old Orchard Beach locations. This step is being taken in order to limit the number of people who enter the building or interact with staff or clients.

Donations of food may be accepted, if the product is unexpired and in its original packaging. To arrange a food donation drop-off, please contact Bill Libby at blibby@milestone-recovery.org or 207-775-4790, ext. 128.

We deeply appreciate the support of our friends in the community who want to help us care for the most vulnerable members of our community. If you would like to support our work during this trying time, please consider purchasing an item from our Amazon Wish List for direct delivery to Milestone, or making a monetary donation via PayPal.

To make donating easy, we’ve created a wish list on Amazon, with some of the items our programs and clients need the most. By shopping our wish list, you not only support our clients’ most pressing needs, but you can also have your donation shipped to Milestone directly.

Did you know that you can turn an old car, RV or boat into a tax deduction and support for Milestone? Donations are picked up with never any cost to the donor.
