Mission

Helping People Rebuild Their Lives Since 1967

Nearly six decades of recovery, shelter, outreach, and hope for Maine adults facing substance use disorders, mental illness, and homelessness.

Who We Are

For nearly 60 years, Milestone Recovery has been a trusted source of hope, healing, and support for individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental illness, and homelessness. Since opening our emergency shelter in 1967, we have grown into one of Maine’s most comprehensive providers of recovery and stabilization services.

Through a full continuum of care—including withdrawal management, residential treatment, emergency shelter, housing navigation, outreach services, and recovery housing—we help individuals move from crisis to stability, recovery, and renewed purpose.

Real Impact. Real Pathways.
